This is a new series of women wearing berets or hats.

I have always been intrigued by head coverings and their many and varied purposes. Hats are a versatile and important in daily life. Their uses are many – work, sport, safety, cultural and religious reasons or just for fun.

Berets and woollen hats serve many functions, but they can also be a fashion statement that allows the individual to express their unique style.

This artwork is mixed media on canvas and finished with cold wax. It is ready to hang as is or just waiting for a frame to finish it off.
