about me
I live on Victoria’s Surf Coast, and I paint the quiet complexities of everyday life. My work is based on the authentic experiences of women. At the heart of this is a question I keep returning to: how do we hold onto our individuality within the ordinary rhythms of daily life?
An unusual path brought me to where I am. Before fine art, I spent years working in commercial printing and print media, where I developed a deep understanding of visual communication — how composition guides the eye, the emotion of colour, how an image tells a story, I carry all of that into my painting practice. It’s what I think of as abstract realism: work that is technically considered but driven by feeling and narrative.
Over more than twelve years as a practicing artist, my work has been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions, paintings and commissions now live in private collections across Australia and internationally.
It’s deeply meaningful to know that the themes I explore — identity, womanhood, the everyday life — resonate with people beyond my own studio walls.
Closer to home, I’m passionate about making art accessible to everyone.
I facilitate life drawing and sketching classes at Hoop Gallery in Torquay, because I believe creativity is something that belongs to all of us. Teaching keeps me connected to that belief, and to the community I’m proud to be part of on the Surf Coast.

Across still life, portraiture, and abstraction, the work is grounded in observation—finding meaning in the ordinary
